Wooden Decks & Cedar Decks
Composites have taken over the bulk of new deck projects, but for many, the beauty and warmth of real wood is still preferred. Western red cedar is readily available in either clear (no knots), or tight knot grade. There are also several tropical hardwood options to choose from. These include Epi, Tigerwood, and several subspecies of mahogany.
All of these woods are inherently decay-resistant, and can be left raw to weather naturally or pre-stained prior to installation.
